This course is in a series of classes to merge music and art together. 

This interactive, fun and activity-based set course aims to enhance each child’s musical awareness and aim to give each child a firm musical foundation.

The course develops skills in engagement and communication through opportunities in drawing, painting and music making.

Each class will focus upon a different aspect of music such as rhythm, pitch, tempo, notation and relation to the arts representation. We will progressively become more familiar with these elements through musical games, artistic activities and hands on music making. We will create a simple piece of music using the knowledge gained throughout the course. Classical music is the integral part of this course. The students will be learning not only basic skills in music but will be challenged in recognising classical composers and known masterpieces, as well as creating a space to use art to interpret their musical experience.
