That’s why our art school exists – to grow vital access to sidelined art education in the local community and it is free for those students who come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
Supplementary education in the Arts for children and young people 7-16 years old
Art 4 Youth Norwich art school is a high quality learning experience for children young people aged 7 to 16, delivered by Norfolk practising artists and art educators in small groups of 10 students and divided into age groups of 7 to 11 and 12 to 16 years old.
The programme combines use of professional materials and techniques, cultivating artistic vision and confidence whilst referencing art history, from old masters to contemporary artists.

Workshop of 3 hours each in duration are offered during weekends. The workshops are independent and not directly connected to the weekday courses. The students create a series of short studies, including a final piece, expanding on a particular learning aspect of the school's program. Some of the workshops will combine en plein air painting or gallery visits. Description of each workshop is always published on FaceBook page and Instagram.
